Week 13 Team Assessment

As our last task for the development of the game, we implemented as much of the intended boss fight as possible so that the game could end at a climactic point of the story. In this boss level, the player must defeat a large Sight through the use of the tossing mechanic that they learned in the previous level and by dodging the monster's arms as it attacks them. In preparation for this new level, our visuals team first created animations and assets for the monster and the chamber that it resides in. After which, our coder began building the scene for the final encounter.

This week, we also added more cutscenes, sounds, animations, and UI elements that we thought would further enhance the player's experience of the game. Our talented programmer was then able to put as much of these new assets and features into the game, which, overall, we did our best to polish based on all the feedback we've received throughout the semester. Our designs and game features (both included and not included due to time constraints) were all documented in the final design document.
